W J Owen Cup Weekend

This weekend sees the return of the WJO Cup!
The W. John Owen Cup was inaugurated in 2006 in the South Wales Amateur League in recognition of the lifetime of sterling service devoted to the League by its President Mr. W. John Owen.
In 2015 on the amalgamation of the South Wales Amateur
League and the South Wales Senior League the cup was
retained onto the new formed South Wales Alliance League.
Traditionally sides from the lower divisions of the league
have proved their reputation as cup fighters by humbling
more high-flying opponents and last season's victory by Cardiff Cosmos over Premier League Canton was no exception - watch out for some more shock results this weekend!
